Directions

If you are coming in on I-40, get off onto I-26 south (toward Hendersonville), then take exit 40 toward the Asheville Regional Airport. At the top of the exit, turn right toward Brevard. (If you have come from the south on I-26, you will be turning left at the top of the exit) Either way, go toward the airport. If you are heading toward the fast food area, turn around and come the other way.  Pass the airport and keep going toward Brevard. From the airport it should be approximately 25 minutes before you get into Brevard.  Stay to the right at the light where the road forks by Mills River Restaurant. As you are coming into the Brevard area, you will come through a traffic light by Taco bell and WalMart. At the next traffic light you will see Pizza Hut on the right, this is the entrance to Pisgah National Forest. GO TO THE NEXT LIGHT AND TURN LEFT (look for Lowes on the left, you will be turning left at the traffic light on tha troad, which is Ecusta Road, it is easy to miss this turn as it is so close to the other traffic lights.) Take this road till et ends, approximately 1 - 2 minutes.  While you are at this traffic light, you will see a gas station to the right of the light.  Grandmamas's House sits almost diagonally to the left of the light as you are sitting at the light ready to turn left.  Turn left at the light, but do not travel down the road, the driveway to the house is immediately on the right after you have turned left. When you turn down the drive, you will have a tall wooden fence on your right, cutting off vision of the trailer park.  Granmama's House is the main house.  Grandpapa's Getaway is the garage apartment.
